Starbucks brought back this favorite Frappuccino for Caramel Week, as they called it. They technically still have this item on their website + menu, but I haven’t seen it on display for a while. I never knew about this drink before they advertised it as “coming back,” but it certainly seemed to be one for the extreme sweet tooths.
Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino
The Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino has more of a toffee taste. On top is a salted caramel sauce with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was a bit bitter, but the thing that really stuck in my mind was the ooey gooey caramel sauce. It sticks inside the straw, and you can see that it is EVERYWHERE in the drink. There really wasn’t much cocoa taste at all. There was chocolate sauce, and when it comes through the straw, the chocolate taste is particularly strong, but otherwise, it’s pretty negligible. Overall, it tastes much better when mixed with the whipped cream. Otherwise, it’s pretty sweet.
